I was checking out the specs on the new Ipod Touch and was wondering if I still have to use the old 480 X 320 since the new Ipod's screen resolution is 960 X 640. I currently using Mediacoder to convert videos and want to get the best possible video quality.

I have no idea, but I want to warn you that if your video source is DVD, VCD, VHS tape, standard definition TV or some other standard definition source (ie. Divx/Xvid at less than 720x576) that increasing the resolution to something close to 960x640 isn't going to look very good. You'll need high def sources that you can shrink down to that resolution for the video to look OK.
