Ok, I'm a little upset with my purchase. I got a Sanyo DWM370 for Christmas and went to hook it up. My TV only has cable-in (bedroom el-cheapo tv)... So I figured I would be able to use the RCA's into my VCR, then to my TV (like my Dish Network connects).

Well, the screen kept switching from the movie..to a blank screen. Ended up taking the unit back because I thought it was broke. Got another... and it did the same darn thing.

After finding this forum, I see that there is a protection called Macrovision on the unit. What good are the darn RCA's if you can't use them?!?!?

I had to buy a RCA/Video Modulator at Radio Shack to convert the RCA to cable TV output.

Anyone know how to get around this mess of wires? Now I have to unhook my VCR/SAT from the TV and plug in the DVD everytime I want to watch something. There must be a better way, or a fix??

    ...signed an unhappy DVD owner!

  3. Look at this:

    RF Adapter box

This wouldn't trip the MacroVision. 30 bucks, it could be worse. Your mileage may vary...
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
