upside down VCD

I'm capturing my tv and vcr through a usb video bus cord into my usb port......and using ulead pro to capture the avi file...that works great but when i burn it to a cdr with nero it burns ok but then when i try to play on my house DVD player it shows on tv upside down...any solutions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

Do not let Nero encode your AVI file.
Use TMPGEnc for instance to pre-encode to VCD compliant MPEG file, then use the resulting file to burn the VCD.
