I've got several VCD quality MPG1 files that I would like to put to DVD, basically making a larger VCD. I'm not worried about DolbyD sound or anything like that, just interested in the menu possibilities, storage space, and portability of DVDs. Have TMPGEnc and DVDit on a Sony desktop w/ DVD burner. I can set up an entire DVD, but when I go to burn DVDit tells me that my MPEGs have illegal parameters, and that if I make the disc only PC DVD players will be able to play it. I've already changed the names to stuff like 101.mpeg, and re-encoded the audio to 48 kHz, and can't see what else to do-It has to be something in the video encoding, so here's what TMPGEnc says are the video stats at this point--
MPEG-1 Video, 352x240, 4:3 525 line (NTSC), 29.97 fps, Constant bitrate (CBR) 1150 kbits/s, VBV Buffer 0, motion search Normal, non-interlaced (progressive), bottom field first (fieldB), Source aspect ratio 4:3 525 line NTSC 704x480, full screen (keep aspect ratio).
Sorry this is so long, but I've been trying it for weeks on and off with no luck...Any help would be appreciated:)
