    Greetings,

I have been out of the loop for a little while.

I bought a batch of Memorex RW and R DVDs at Wally world and they are crap. I get blocking and after only a few rewrites (2-3)on the RW they are useless and not even recognized in any of my DVD writers.

What is now the best brand to buy and where is the best price for those?

    Thank you

    Memorex is low grade stuff.
Best discs are NOT sold in local stores, have to buy online. Cheaper there anyway!

Basically you have to buy Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden in the USA and Canada. Be careful because Verbatim has succumbed to price pressure and stores like Best Buy now sell something called "Life Series" discs which are lower quality and cheaper than the good Verbatim discs. Verbatim's DataLifePlus series, which I buy online, is top notch. I also sometimes buy Taiyo Yuden discs as well.
