  1. Can i have a file with hidden atribute on a CD. I find that all files which have a hidden attribute on a HDD when burnt to a CD acquire a non-hidden an rad only attribute. Any hints here?

It would seem that you'd need to have the attributes set to hidden on your pc and then when you went to copy said information to your cd/dvd change the settings to not finalise the cd/dvd and once the information was on the cd/dvd you'd need to change it's attributes to "read only" and then finalise it.

I find this question to be of dubious merits. You should be aware that many applications and non-Windows operating systems ignore the hidden attribute and even if you do figure out a way to do this (I'm not sure you can), a person could put your disc on a Linux, Mac, etc. system and easily find your file.
