I'm capturing at 1081i and storing those away. I'm also converting to Standard DVD format which is where the problem comes in. I'm converting in TMPGEnc Xpress4. Set to De-interlace always as a 16:9 AR. Win7 Pro ans a i7-930. Reasonable conversion speed. At least one had a couple of spots where the the picture did a momentary freeze and the sound kept on playing. This makes me think there is a problem with the source.
Any suggestions to run the source through to fix any problems?
I'm also thinking of adding a BD burner. Any suggestions for software that will let me put two or three videos on one BD Disc with a nice menu. Any suggestions for Make and model of burner.
Thanks

If I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself.
