I'm writing an article on HD capture, and am trying to find out if these are SD or HD.

These are all generally the same: usb, composite-svhs-component inputs. I'm trying to find out if these are worth investigating for the review. I'm covering many consumer devices, plus these cheap "fringe" type devices.

    Here's one

    Here's another
And more info on the above

I'll round it out with this one

    Thanks!

All are SD only with the last able to record HDTV ... not the same as actually having the capabilities of recording in "HD"

Throw the HD PVR in the mix.

Yes, I already have that, the Blackmagic intensity pro and Avermedia HD PVR. I was looking into these mainly as a way to eliminate them as HD and provide info on the "less than mainstream" devices. Oddly enough, inquiries to the sellers have them stating that they do record in HD, though I think that it is more of a language barrier than actual capabilities.
