I go to the Black Magic Control Panel and it wouldn't let me select input or output format. Then I go to the Media Express v1 and it wouldn't let me select the capture preferences either. Then I went to the regular Media Express and it said that the drivers I have aren't compatible with Media Express and I must update the Intensity Pro drivers. I have the latest drivers. It said before I downloaded them that they were 3.5, but the download only had 3.4. Where are the 3.5 drivers for Windows because I currently cannot use my Intensity Pro!!!!!!!

I haven't found the 3.5 drivers yet, but I went into Media Express v1 to try it again and it says No Capture Card Found. What is going on?!? I haven't changed anything, it was working yesterday!

  4. Hi, sorry to bring this back up but I have all of the problems contained in the posts quoted below.

Does anyone have a solution? I have tried the drivers on the CD and the latest ones on their website (3.5.2). I get the same problems both ways.

Thanks for any help in advance.

I never did get mine working in the end, i resulted in buying a HD PVR, but when you install does it come up in your device manager? that was my problem before i installed the drivers it was there, but when i installed them it vanished, i tried support for like 5 hours but there pretty helpless, but they do give you some ways that you probably have not tried, give them a call! Good luck (:

  6. No it's not in device manager, and I'm not sure if it was there before I installed the drivers. I sent them an email but I guess I'll give them a call if they don't respond soon.

Thanks anyway, I think the luck will be needed

you would be best to call them, and that was my problem i havent tried it recently as ive had lots of updates so i thought that might make it work, but i have a pvr now so theres no point, but other than that i dunno what to offer for you to try, although alot of people say reverting back to the 3.4 drivers made there work i guess you could try that.

  8. I don't actually have the 3.4 drivers, my CD has 3.1.2 on it, and the website has 3.5.2. Had a quick look on google but I can't see them elsewhere, I'll just have to hope Black Magic can sort it for me somehow.

  9. Thanks very much, didn't see that!

Although I've managed to solve the "No Capture Card Found" problem another way. It wasn't plugged into the PCI slot properly Noticed that when I went into the Blackmagic Control Panel, the window (which should say "Preferences Settings for your Intensity Pro") had another Blackmagic product in the title.

Wasn't quite as stupid as it sounds... I can only put the card into the slot so that it works if I leave the holding screw out. It works if the card is inserted loose or if I put I washer between the PC case and the card before using the screw.

Not sure if that will help anyone else, it might just be that my motherboard/PC case are a bad match for each other and the PCI slots aren't positioned very well.

Anyway now I can change options and things. The recording screen is still black so I guess now I have to figure out what settings are wrong.

  10. OK, I've fixed mine.

    Problem:
    No video/audio in Media Express.

    Motherboard:
    ASUS P5QL-E

    Solution:
BIOS -> Advanced -> PCIPnp -> Plug and Play O/S -> set to "YES" instead of "NO"

This allows Windows to configure PCI devices instead of the motherboard (which apparently can't handle it).

Also I can't get 3.5 drivers to work. 3.4 does fine though.
