Hi all
I have just ordered a new PC, and I can choose between the following systems.
Windows 98SE (the one I got now)
Windows 2000 (will have to buy)
Windows ME (Tried on the old system, not impressed)
Windows XP (helped a friend with this, and hate it)
Can you tell me which Windows system is best for video capturing ?
My new system will be.
AMD 1800+
768 MB ram
2x80GB Maxtor 7200rpm disk (UDMA133)
Abit motherboard with raid (UDMA133)
Soundblaster live 5.1
MX400 gfx card with 64MB ram and TV-out
I have been told that Windows 98 can have troubles with the swapdisk and raid? Know if this is true?

Hi there Jens,
my computer is not as good as yours, but I have been using WindowsXP without problems.
I tried using Windows2000 and had a lot of problems. Win98 is not very good and I didn´t try WinME.
Give WinXP a try, I think you won´t regret it.
