I was wondering which formats and container are best suited for Internet streaming etc, without having to install any codecs or other software (except for example Flash). It has to be something you can already play after just installing a web browser on Windows XP/Vista/7, so that 60 year old people with no real experience can play it. Quality is more important than file size, though it has to be compressed.
