    Anyone else had dvdx crash if attempting to encode useing the panasonic mpeg encoder plugin?

  2. yeh a few times got sick of it so i startedv to use flaskmpg with premier plugin then found lsx is much quicker (2hours for american pie 2 r2) and have had not 1 single problem with it over 20 dvds coppied

    Hi there i had the same prob i fixed it by selecting rgb32 instead of rgb 24 which is the default setting u will find it in the output settings bottom lefthand corner, also do not use multi pass for the panasonic encoder that also causes dvdx to crash... also put save your dvd drive to 700mb (input settings)hard disc this will save ur dvd drive and make for more reliable encoding,when i started i was using only 10mb and my dvd drive got to hot half way though all the times i tried this but ,putting it to 700mb fixed it .i hope this works for u, im running windows xp so i dont know if thats anything to do with it... good luck
