CCleaner

I'm not looking for a new cleaner but just have a question about mine.

I've been using it for a while and only rid of the things I have checked marked.. I was wondering what the other crap is for and is it safe to run the cleaner on those too? oh and Alcohol 120% is deleted from my computer but still shows in my cleaner..

The settings for Windows tab are fine. I would only remove the cookies checkmark. Otherwise, it removes some customized settings in Internet Explorer.

In the second tab, you can selected all items, except under Firefox the Cookies, Saved Form Information and Compact Databases.

See if Alcohol is still in the list of Tools > Uninstall. Run also Registry Fix. That should remove Alcohol entry.

Clean the old prefetch, hotfix installers, and log files, too.
I also suggest cleaning DVD Shrink and WMP.
