I have very silly question, does the component (y/Ybr) video signal is in the NTSC or PAL format or is it system independent. the reason I am asking this is because I am going to take my Pansonic TV from US to India, where the television system is PAL. But I will buy a local Dish/setop box ,which will have a component video output. so if the compo. video is independent of the format then I don't need worry about NTSC-PAL converter otherwise I will have to buy one.
