Anyone know of a utility that can tell you how old the battery is in your APC UPS? I have four APC UPSes at home and can't remember how old the batteries are...

PS: I do have the APC software installed but I don't see an option to inform age of battery....

Did you keep the test printout that came with the UPS? Mine showed the battery date, although the thermal paper has seriously faded now.

I don't know about APC, but most UPS batteries are sealed lead-acid and do not have a "coulomb counter" in them like Li-ion batteries. You can get some idea on their condition by testing your runtime while on the UPS battery (just remove the AC cord from the socket to the UPS). Compare the time to system shutdown to that stated in your UPS manual.
When a sealed lead-acid battery is beginning to fail, it will start to swell slightly.ICBM target coordinates:
