ok, for all you sci fi fans out there, as the title suggests, which series was your favorite?
mine has to be "supernatural", followed by "buffy the vampire slayer", "star trek deep space nine", "star trek the next generation", "tales from the crypt", "angel", "charmed", "buck rogers" and then everything else.

The original Star Trek. A bit dated now, but at the time, it was great. I also could include the earlier Outer Limits, though it wasn't all Sci-Fi.

All time favorite would be original star trek. But I'll watch anything science fiction styled. Recently I started watching fringe (yes I know I'm almost 2 years late) and really am enjoying it. Also like the star gate shows (yes even sg universe). Donadagohvi (Cherokee for "Until we meet again")

	Babylon 5

 Stargate SG-1

 Battlestar Galactica (the original version)

how the hell could i have forgotten about these, V and V the final battle were awesome, dark angel made jessica alba's career (and was a pretty good series) and the x-files were just out of this world (pun intended). i think some of the best x-files were the ones outside of the regular continuity, such as when mulder and scully find themselves on a ship during ww2 with the nazis or theres one where it strongly implies that life is a cosmic chess game between God and Satan and the movie was great too.

All time favorite is Star Trek The Next Generation (though I know them so well I hardly watch the episodes I do have on disc).

But a close second has become Stargate SG-1. I have all ten seasons on dvd. I have the original movie on bluray (first release not the new anniversary set). I also have seasons 1,2, and 5 of Atlantis. UNIVERSE totally blows. I MAY watch it when it comes back but it is SO dark and blah its not worth watching.

 To round out my favs:

 Xfiles
 St:Voyager
 ST:ds9
Original Star Trek (mostly for the cheesy laughs - and of course for the "historical" nature of it - you know setting up all the Star Trek worlds and lore and all that)Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

.... hmmm... I never really though much about it, but I guess I'm not a big scifi fan. Most things I like are recent. Some cartoons in 80s, few Star Treks in 90s, then few live action shows lately.

Shows like Sliders, the original Star Trek, Seven Days, Sliders, Farscape, X-Files, Fringe, Chuck -- I've seen some of them but just never very interested.

Why do so many scifi shows start with an "s" anyway?

I like Supernatural, but I don't think I'd call it scifi -- more of a suspense/monsters thing. Not much science in that fiction. Not sure I'd call Twilight Zone scifi either.Last edited by lordsmurf; 5th Mar 2010 at 02:12. Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
