    Ok so I have used AVS converter to take a mp4 version of SHOOTER the movie and converted it into DVD.... However trying to correct some aspects I have selected 4:3 and then selected the crop slider too 100% and it looked cool... burnt into a dvd everything seems to be cropped great.. not missing much of the movie besides the normal "extra" stuff with larger width aspect BUT I noticed that some "in movie" texts which describes where the actors are purported to be... the text is supposed to say ETHIOPIA... however the IA is cut out... so I would assume that 80% would include this (or some tested %).... is this the right method to use... I'm dead serious about learning whats needed to know when converting and ripping DVD's... I just have no idea what the hell I'm doing... if AVS sucks I should know... however I would like to make my setup work.
