Hi! I really didn't know where to ask this. It seemed that no category matched with this.
The thing is that I'm planning to buy a blue-ray burner for my pc. The idea is to use it to play blue-ray movies connected to a LCD TV.
I have a geforce GT9500 and I tested a .ts file (as far as I know this is a blue-ray format, right?) and the video doesn't run smoothly. This was a music video of 6 minutes in 467 mb. If my pc is not able to reproduce that, I guess it won't by any means play a full 25 gb blue-ray movie.
SO I wanted you to suggest me video cards that can allow me to play blue ray movies smoothly and (possibly) flawlessly and that I can connect to an LCD TV (with HDMI) and to my LCD monitor (VGA, this is not very important, I guess both videocards can work at the same time?)
Don't worry about the price, I came to realize that making a "cinema room" is not cheap![]()

A dual core 2.2ghz should be able to handle 1080p hd pretty well. And the geforce 9500 isn't that bad (http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_geforce_9500gt_us.html ? ).
Try play with MPC-HC and see how it works.
