Adding Watermark or Pre Video Image?

Hello everyone,

I'm currently using ffmpeg to convert my videos and it's working great. I am how-ever trying to either watermark my video files or if possible add a pre-video image displaying information such as the a website url and such.

The files I am dealing with are flv's and avi files. I could create a flv file with the information on it and then use a program to join it to the other flv file how-ever, every time I try doing this using various programs I get errors and it never works. Does anyone know of a program that is reliable?

If that is not an option, I know you can have your own background and not copy the stream file with ffmpeg. Is there a way to get it so that the "background" only displays for 10 seconds and then it starts to copy the stream file ?

I need either some sort of fast flv joiner or a way to watermark soon since this is for a client of mine. So please suggest anything!

andy's flv joiner to join flvs , or avidemux

to join files, the have to have the same specs (fps, dimensions ,usually similar encoding settings). So you sould create an "intro" flv, and append it to your actual video

or use avisynth and overlay if you want to add a transparent logo or watermark when re-encoding an entire piece
