Doesn't seem like spam but you'd probably get a better response in one of the video-specific forums, no?

  3. Looks like spam to me. Software for 1/4 second attention span kids. If you have nothing to say use lots of transitions (images) or fonts (text).

  4. Rallynavvie, which forums are you referring to? I posted this under the computer forum because I was hoping to get more feedback concerning computer video processing. Sorry I'm new here.

Jagabo, sorry but this isn't spam. This is my final year project. I made this thread to gain feedback/comments seeing that this is a computer forum. More explanation can be found on the blog for those interested.

  6. It seems like your app mainly can be used as a GPU shader showcase.
Maybe the functionallity is too much between two worlds?

One world beeing the rendered video processing community centered around Avisynth.
And the other beeing the realtime VJ community centered around FreeFrame.

I'm sure if you could turn the GPU shader routine into a plugin for either Avisynth or FreeFrame you would get a much more positive response.

    On Avisynth:

    http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?f=67 (forum)
http://www.codeplex.com/AvsFilterNet (AvsFilterNet - writing avisynth filter in .NET)

    On FreeFrame:
http://freeframe.sourceforge.net/ (FreeFrame 1.5 is GPU based - but there aren't that many filters/shaders yet)

  7. Thanks tin2tin, I've just looked into those programs and they're great. I think I'll try looking more into free frame as I'm focusing more on the real-time effect aspect of the programming. Thanks again
