Hello Guys,
I have plan to buy Amateur Camera (Canon or Nikon or Ricoh) but i don't know right one for Amateur photographer. I have limited budget of $400 - $450 for Amateur Camera and i'm going to establish Digital Printing in remote area somewhere in the philippines & i will use this camera for High School and Elementary Graduation and some special event.
Please help me find the right Camera and Printer because i'm currently in Hongkong so i can buy it here.
Thank you very much for your help.
Thanks
Alex

I just search the web i found this result: Canon PowerShot SX120 IS Digital Camera http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/643182-REG/Canon_3634B001_PowerShot_SX120_IS_Dig...l.html#reviews
Guys, please give your comment regarding that camera.
Thanks -
I can help with this but to really help more information is needed. lordsmurf can also help on this one. but what is the main thing you want it for? a point and shoot is easy and cheap but a dlsr will give you full control over your pictures. you can get a good DSLR that falls in your budget.
do you want to be able to control all the things in your pictures like depth of field and motion white balance? if so then you need a DSLR if you just want to point and shoot then.. well you get the idea.
EDIT: i highly recomend you read this page by a guy that reviews cameras all the time. some people dont like him BUT he gives good unbiased information on cameras AND he tells you what camera is good for what and its cost.

the one you posted is ok but you can get better (depending on your need) -
Thanks for your reply Heywould3, actually i don't have much idea about the camera like able to control all the things on my pictures and depth of field and motion white balance. I'm not a photographer that's why i can't say what exactly the camera i need.
I just want to start a Digital Printing but i need a good camera that won't let me down as Beginner. I read a lot of good review of this camera Fujifilm FinePix S1500, anyone use it here?
Thanks

I prefer the Canon cameras, for the not-DSLR/not-P&S middleman jobs, like this one.
Panasonic has some good offerings, too, however. (Lumix)
Lumious-Landscape.com may be good site for this.
Ken Rockwell is only good for DSLR and lenses, really. Anything else, and he just rambles.
Check out Dgrin.com, too.
Not Dpreview forum -- too many amateurs in there, no clue.
If you don't know what you want, anything may be fine. That Fuji? Sure, it will work.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
