I am un-impressed by the new Clarkdale from Intel. A case of too little for too much. I wonder if a Clarkdale Quad-core is in the future and please do away with the on CPU graphics.

  2. As an Intel CPU designer, I will take your comments under consideration. Drop the on-core graphics you say??

AMD CPU's had on CPU memory controllers for years before Intel and it didn't help AMD outclass Intel C2D. The Intel C2D outran AMD,so the on CPU memory controller didn't help. I think a CPU should process program intructions and leave memory and video to the MB and and addon cards. All it does is increase the cost of a CPU by adding these "exrtras" to the CPU.
Tests I read on the internet indicate on CPU memory controllers don't really improve performance. On CPU video is to new to know, but what I've read so far is negative.
