    Hi i'm new here.
My flat screen monitor decided to die yesterday, so here i am using this old crt.
I have a 22" LCD tv doing nothing but gathering dust, can i use that as a monitor for the PC?
On my TV there is component, S-video and RCA connectors
On my video card there is VGA and dvi.
    Thank you in advance

I've used one before and works great!

You may not be able to get the pixel adjustment you want but that just depends on what kind you have, Good Luck

Unless you can output component from your video card, it won't work. Newer LCDs that have VGA or DVI, or even HDMI work OK for monitors. S-video or composite will look really bad. Component may be OK, but you may have problems getting the correct monitor adjustments. I'd just buy a LCD PC monitor and save yourself a lot of problems.

    And welcome to our forums.
