    Hi all, i wish to connect my laptop to my tv. I have a dell precision m4400 and it has VGA out (i am able to connect to standalone monitors using vga), i only have scart on my tv and the red, yellow, white ports at the front of the tv - no svideo conectors.

    Can someone please recommend a cable to connect to my pc please?

    A simple cable will not get you from VGA to composite/s-video/component/SCART-RGB. You will need a scan converter.

    Check to see if your laptop has a 7 or 8 pin DIN connector (like s-video but with more pins). If it does it will probably TV output on that.
