VCD, SVCD only play on PC not on APEX/Pioneer ?? Why???

I followed step by step with the tutorial and using
(1) smart ripper
(2) DVD2AVI
(3) TMPGEEnc

and finally get a big mpeg-1 or 2 file depends on VCD or SVCD!

It works perfect on PC!

then burned it to CDR, it woudld not play in my APEX-500W, and Pioneer machine although both of them support cdr, cdr-w

why????????

I noticed two things:

(1) I used forced filem as suggsted!
(2) The final file is one single big mpeg file, not the same as normal VCD disk, with different directories...

You don't just burn the mpg directly to CD if you want to watch it on a standalone player. See the How To Author guides on the lefthand panel of this site.
