I have been working on a holiday DVD for my family. My movies from my camera are quicktime format and are 640 x 480. I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 7 and putting them all together and exporting to AVI. When I burn to DVD, the movies are small in the screen.

In the past I have used some program that I can't remember that seems to stretch the movies to make them seem larger on the completed movie on my computer and on the television.

Can anyone help - thanks in advance!

Can't you make a dvd directly in premiere elements?

And to what size/resolution are you exporting the avi? Use 720x480.

I have many smaller .mov clips that I am working to make into one large file.

When I have them ready with transitions, I go to file/export/movie. I have been exporting to Microsoft AVI. Under the Video settings it says it is exporting to 720x480.

I then took this file (and others for the DVD) into Roxio My DVD 8 as it allows me to create my own menus. I used the same process last year (I think) and the finished product videos look smaller on the screen. Last year, they were full screen.

Thanks for the reply and any help you can provide.
