    hi all i was wondering if someone could put me on the right path. im doing some course work and one of the Qs is "Describe what you feel are the major differences between the operating systems of each", we are comparing xp and WM6.

  2. Well for one WM allows touch screens:

    XP allows NTFS while WM is FAT32, from a security standpoint XP is better.

  3. That's comparing 6.5 with earlier CE versions. XP has always supported touch screens (tablet PC).

    The main differences between XP and CE are that CE is a true real-time OS and that it (for the most part) uses a subset of the Windows API. Nevertheless, many applications written for XP etc can be compiled for mobile. DirectShow, for example, is supported. Oh, and the system requirements and performance are vastly different.
