This may seem like a dumb question, but can the following be done?
Can you take a movie that has been ripped and compressed using, say DVDfab and DVDstrink, to 75% of it's size and burned to a DVD-5 and re-rip and de-strink it back to 100% and burn it to a DVD-9?

No. Once its shrunk the original quality is lost. You will need to go back to the original source and start over. Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
