Hi,
I'm fairly new to video work, but recently I have been using camtasia mac to produce videos for websites, which have a combination of screen capture videos and footage from a camcorder.
The videos from the camcorder (a sony handycam) are mpeg-2, so to keep the audio and import the files into camtasia I have used mpeg streamclip - and exporting to avi (it seems to be the only format camtasia likes?).
However, After I select the 'Export to avi' I am unsure about which settings to use. I have put the quality to 100% as I don't want to lose quality (I can compress the finished article in camtasia).
Can anyone tell me good setting to use for codecs, sound etc.? or correct me if I am doing the wrong thing completely.
Cheers,
Darren
