Been wanting to buy some more RAM.
I'm not too familiar with RAM.
All i know is that according to 'Everest' i am using DDR2 SDRAM. (333Mhz) in each RAM slot is 1GB. There are 2 slots in total so i have 2GB RAM on here.

    Can i buy these: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/166785

    If not why?

Does the 800mhz thing matter? Or if it was too much Mhz would it burn something out on the PC? Also it says PC2-6400 on that site is that just a model number? Or do i have to buy RAM with the same number as mine?

    Pls let me know.

    Thanks guys.

    Thanks mate.

How would i find out if each slot can handle 2GB?
Also i only have 2 slots on my board.
Isit possible to buy more slots and if so are they easy to put onto the board?

    Thanks very much.

You need to look up the specs for your mobo.
    Everest will tell you that.
Then just Google for the motherboard name, you should find the manufacturer's site and specs there, including the type and maximum amount of RAM.

If you have a brand-name and model PC, you can look that up too.

In general you can't add more slots. RAM has to be connected to a special high speed data line, and you can't just plug them in via a PCI card or other connector.

If maxing out the existing slots isn't enough, you'll have to just replace the motherboard.
