Hello im new here,I want to spend about £800-£900 this cameras has to connect to the mixing desk of the backline or the main mixing desk at the live gig.so i would either need an outboard mixing desk or a cameras which already has that on board,i would also have to monitor the sound going into the cameras.so if some thing happens like some idiot falls on the mixing desk whilst drunk or off his head on something else i can turn the sound down on an outboard mixing desk if the sound is accidently turned up at some stage.also another thing if i buy a hd camera will i be able to connect via the firewire port and load the footage my old carillon computer.Ive just managed to do it with a new lumix digital cameras,so i cant see a real problem all that will be lost is quality which should not be much i can still probably burn it onto pal and upgrade my computer later for the hd quality.
anyway thanks for your time
all the best my creative artful third eye visionaries
peace
colin
ps can anyone tell me of any makes that would suit the job at hand,i have had a look at some canon camcorders anyhelp would be much appreciated
