JVC Pro SRHD1250 bluray recorder??

Hello all, any one familiar with JVCs SRHD1250 bluray recorders??, I mean if i was to put a larger HDD in side, e.g. 500 gb or so on, will this machine recognise it or even see it??, any ideas, thanks aaron

I doubt you will be able to interchange the HDD. I learned they used a proprietary format with my DR-HM20.
