Hi,
I am using Sony HDR-XR100E handycam and Sony's "PMB" software to merge and burn discs. Few days back, I accidentally deleted all videos from my handycam. After searching on web, I was able to recover most of the MTS file via a tool called "Wise Data Recovery".
There MTS files are of different size (varying from 50 MB to 2 GB) but my problem is:
1. Few files plays well on Windows Media Player but PMB reports and unsupported format error.
2. There are other files that play well in PMB but Window Media Player crashes for those.
3. I am not able to burn or merge any of these file via PMB.
I'll appreciate any help or guidance in this regard.
thanks
rohit

as you've probably guessed they weren't recovered. you got pieces of the files. nothing will fix them.
