I recently got a JVC HR-S9911U
I have a KWORLD PlusTV Analog Lite PCI TV Tuner Capture Card 7134SE which only has a 3.5mm audio
I use a S-Video cable to connect both for video capture.
I'm capturing with Virtualdub
However, I'm having trouble capturing any audio.
There is composite red/white audio on the JVC.
So I have a red/white to 3.5 mm converter so I decided to connect the JVC to the pc?
It didn't world with the KWORLD card.
I tried with the sound card but it doesn't work either.
This is what happens:
I just loud booming staticy noises whether or whether Virtualdub is on with the "line in" from the VCR. It overshadows some of the audio of the people's voices I can barely barely make out from my VHS tape.
With my JVC, which I was told was the best VHS to Digital converter on the market, how do I get the VHS audio on my computer??
Any help is appreciated

the audio out of the jvc (red/white) goes to the audio in of your audio card jack.
the capture card usually has a red/white/yellow/s-video cable that connects to the vhs, and a video-in plug and a 3.5 mic jack on the pc end, the video in goes to the capture card and the 3.5 jack to the audio card. you will have to make sure that audio-in is enabled in your audio properties, and select it for the source audio in the video capture software.
