Can the Internet Time in WinXP be set to sync time more frequently? On my system it shows last sync was 7/24 and is scheduled to sync again on 7/31, but the clock is already 7 seconds fast and will probably be another 4 to 5 seconds fast before next sync unless I manually click "Sync Now" which I don't want to have to do. While running Win2k I used Dimension4 that allowed setting automatic sync interval to every few seconds, and it worked very well. I may need to use something like Dimension4 if WinXP can't do the sync more often.

You change a registry value to have it sync as frequently as you like (I have mine sync once a day). See:

    Scroll down to "Adjusting Interval".

The registry edit was easy and seems to work fine. However, I see some time server choices in the screen shot from the link that I don't see in WinXP. The only ones I see in WinXP are one for Windows and one for nist.gov. Is there a way to add others, and which is best to use?

Add them following the instructions on that page - how-to is the first tip on that page.

You can use the pool servers, as linked to in that tip, or use one from the list of Secondary, Open Access, servers:
