    What is the best bitrate or good for the psp from hd source

    500 kbits sec good ???

    The best bitrate is the the highest one.
    However, you should be OK to use 512 (optimal size vs quality).

    The acceptable bitrate will depend on the particular video. You can encode an hour long video of a still bowl of fruit with 50 kbps and it will look great. Noisy, shakey, high contrast camcorder footage may look like crap at 500 kbps.
