    Hi There!
I always encode my videos for YouTube using MEGUI (MP4 - audio AAC) - using always the same config. But I've noticed a problem lately. There's no sync at all since audio goes first and the video looks as though it were shot in slow motion. Any hints? Thanks in advance.

  2. Is it out of sync from megui already, or only after uploading to youtube?

I don't use youtube much, but I read that for some reason uploading as .mkv container instead of .mp4 works for audio sync issues

  3. hard to say. not many specifics there. source video details from mediainfo would be a start and the output specs would be nice.

    have you tried un-installing/re-installing megui?

Thanks to both of you who took time to respond and sorry for the lack of input.

MEGUI is a wonderful piece of software, freeware, the future of the future, constantly updated, so the possibility of having something wrong with it should be the least ever considered. In fact I have learned the whole thing myself. It seems YouTube does not accept the Nero Codec AAC anymore "in a certain way". I mean, if you multilex an MP4 video file (X264) along with Nero AAC 256, the audio will play OK at YouTube, but the video will look like as though it were in slow motion (audio is normal but the video is delayed). Totally out of sync. Solution: mux the video using one of MEGUI's MP3 templates (I have used 128, even ABR has worked out). Shame on you, YouTube.

    Thanks to all,
    Cheers.
