    Hey everybody, here Norway.

    I'm not a guru on the situation, so I need some help.

    I have a Samsung HT-X251 that I made some year ago region free. For some reason, now just suddenly, just takes region 1 DVDs.

    I did try to reset the region free, but nothing happens.

    So, what do I do?

    This is typically a sign of the player failing. You can sometimes correct the problem by flashing the firmware, but I don't believe Samsung makes their firmware files available. So you can have it serviced or replace it.
