I am a newcomer to Vegas Studio, having previously used Pinnacle. When I try to capture video footage from my Sony Handycam all I get is the video. The avi file has no sound. I am now having to capture using Pinnacle, and then edit in Vegas Studio. Can anyone suggest what might be the problem?

1. Yes, it's a DV camera
2. No, there's no audio track beneath the video track; I've checked by playing the avi file in Windows Media player too and there's definitely no sound.
