  1. hi all, i have 2 identical dvd players, both pioneer dv-333. i got one and my gf got one. we brought ours around the same month over a year ago. however, whenever my gf tried to play some dvd on her player, she will get a freeze like every 10 or 15 mins. then she has to do a quick fastward to keep watching the movie. the same disc plays perfect on my player. any ideas? thank you!

Take hers back if you can, it's just a difference in players, I have two fisher dvd players, from day one one would play svcd's better than the other, and even some vcd's if I burn them to fast the one player doesn't like them, theirs an idea, try re burning a vcd that you know freezes on hers at a slower speed, I always use 8x to be safe, see if her's still has the problem.
