Song-Artist List for Music Imported from LPs

I am moving some fairly old music from vinyl to CD-R for my father. Is there a way to include the song name and artist with the digital track or CD-R media so the Player will automatically display the information, similar to what happens with commercial audio CDs? Thanks in advance ....

You are referring to CD-Text, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CD-Text for details. Your CD burning software should enable you to add the text, for instance Imgburn, Nero, and Roxio are capable of adding CD-Text info.
