    Hi

For anyone who's seen my previous posts I've finally got Lost converting alright using dvdfab 5 > dvd shrink > agk, but now I have problem with two films, one is The Brothers Grimm and the other is Death Proof, these seemingly rip ok and convert as they play without any obvious issues on my pc but when I try playing them on my PS3 they are silent (no audio). At the moment I'm assuming it's a similar issue with dvd ripping as I had with Lost, but does anyone know any tools in which I can inspect the video files and try to diagnose what's up. Also if anyone else has these problems with these films and knows who to get around it it would be greatly appreciated.

You can get info from your file by using GSpot or MediaInfo

If you use GSpot you can take a snap shot and post it.

If you use MediaInfo go into "TEXT" mode and copy and past that here.

Both give a lot of information about the file. I'd include the results of both just to make sure everything is covered.

Here is a guide on how to take a snapshot and post it: CLICK HERE

I'm sure once you provide more information that someone can help you out.

    P.S.
One thing that comes to mind ... did you use DTS audio? If so the PS3 will not decode DTS but it will pass it to your audio receiver but of course your audio receiver must be DTS capable. So in short if you use DTS and your audio receiver is not DTS capable then the end result is no audio.
