I primarily use my blank dvd's for DVD backups. I have 2 boys ages 3 and 7 that love to scratch the hell out of our dvd's. I think I have had to replace the backup of Disneys Car's about 6 times so far!
I do use dvd's for special occassions like birthdays, holidays, etc but I get way more use backing up my commercial dvds.Donadagohvi (Cherokee for "Until we meet again") -
Mostly DVD backup, but I use a lot for just data backups and general system backups. Blu-ray will my next step, primarily for data backup.

Primarily, I use re-witable DVD media, for timeshifting TV. I save only about 20% of what I record to view again.

62% have moved to Blu-ray?!
I find it hard to believe that many people are using a $10 BD-R,I still use a $.40 DVDR for data and video. -
