I use DVD Next Copy to make backup copies of DVD's that I own. Recently I switched operating systems from Win XP Home to Win Vista Ultimate. Now whenever I copy a dvd movie it comes out in VSO..UDF! It will not play on my home DVD player, it just starts and then opens! I have a DELL Pentinum 4, 32 bit, 2GB Ram, 2.8Ghz, 160Gb HD, and a Phillips and a HP dvd player/burners. I use Verbatim DVD +R. It used to work fine before, now?

I am sure I am one of the few people in the world that likes Vista lol, and would not want to go back to Win XP!

I have dvd43, MachinstsDL and even tried lame encorder, both installed and un-installed combinations, no luck!

    Any suggestions.

    Thanks
    Jake

I don't use DVD Next Copy. But you can simply verify the output of the programs used each step of the way in your process. If the DVD files or image is fine after being RIPped, but is then incorrect after burning...then the problem is your burning app (or you simply chose the incorrect output type).

I use three programs most of the time. DVDFab Decrypter (ripping - FREE), DVDShrink (to remove unwanted materials from the image when needed - FREE), and I burn with IMGBurn (burns files or discs images - FREE).
