I have post this in the Fairuse unnoficial forum, but trying here too
Anyone knows if we can make new templates for encoding.
I have version 2.8 and I want to have more control at the encoding parameters pages. The closer template to what I want to do is h264/aac/MP4.
I want to change the container for MKV
I want to have more control on resolution, all the resolutions I can select are too low and on top of it they screw up aspect ratio. Where the hell are those preset resolution coming from anyway? I want to select the same resolution has the “cut” I did on the previous screen.
If I choose a custom setting “sets”, then AAC is unavailable has an audio codec.
thanks

There are some bugs, but great tool btw. Difer processing from ISO is a huge time saver when you have lots of dvd to convert.
I have manage to find a stable conversion setup, encoding speed template, h264, ac3 audio, avi output. I just did a 10 projet batch from ISO files and everything worked.
My wish would be a stable version for h264/aac/mkv files. Then h264/aac/mp4 template is unstable has it often aborts or hangs.
Tip : Make sure to adjust the filesize so the video bitrate is 800+ for high quality output. Best output resolution is around 864x352 for widescreen or 912x480 for true 16:9
