  1. I have a 2.7GB, 4 hour MPG movie.
It plays nice and well until it reaches about 30 minutes. And then, that last frame stays the same till the end of the movie.

I did a quick stream fix with VideoRedo Plus, but no change.
The sympthoms are the same with any player I use.

Is this a common bug with video files? Is there any known workout for it...?

    Thanks

    Yes ... and ???

Where did it come from or what was used to make / capture this file ... then we can look at possible solutions which may be able to resolve the problem.

Try avidemux ... if it pops up a warning about index let it rebuild index then once finished try seeking past the point ... if it works use avidemux to save it as a new mpeg2 file which will take time.

PS: Always work with the original source file, not the one created by VideoRedo.

Are you sure the last 3.5 hours of the movie are not duplicates of
    the frozen frame
