Major,
I've been a long time user of ffmpegX and look forward to your 1.0 version. In the past year, I've found myself migrating toward VisualHub. Nice little program, but now that VisualHub is gone by the wayside, do you see future development of ffmpegX? With the 1st anniversay of ffmpegX 'y' are you still working on 1.0?

Disclaimer - I do NOT use ffmpeg. I claim no insider knowledge.
Although it is apparently possible to change your profile to hide when you last logged into the forums, assuming he has not done this, major has not logged into the forums since Feb. of last year and not posted anything since Jan. of last year. I commend your patience for waiting a while before bumping, but it's not looking good that major is ever going to respond. His title of "Forum Admin" appears to be more theoretical than actual at this time.
You might try sending a PM to one of our active admins like Baldrick and ask him if he knows what's going on. That won't answer your question, but Baldrick might possibly know if major has abandoned the forums and/or abandoned ffmpeg and that information might indeed be useful to you.
