How do I shoot video with a glass background - i.e. the back is daylight
Previously I've shot video inside with a bright window at the back - the result was a a disaster
I just assumed that it was a big no no to shoot video like this
I've just seen a few video on the net where they shoot video with a glass background
How do they do this?
The only way I can think of how they would do this is to have excessive lighting in the background (i.e. lighting the subject being filmed)
Thanks
OM

You need fill light in front of the subject, and you need to manually set the exposure so you can get a balance between the foreground light and the back light. Very difficult with most consumer cameras as they don't have enough manual control
