I have just purchased a DSE G3053 recorder after a run of 3 other brands clapping out on my in the last 3 years.
This seems like a great machine however, is there any way to modify the amount of disk space (250gb total) available for copying off a data DVD?
It says in the manual that some space is alocated for storage off data discs, eg: photos, movies, music etc.
This is indeed correct and have got it working, however, after copying on about 8 movies and maybe 50 mp3 files all it says is no more disc space available.
This seems very odd as I have only used about 5gb of space out of the available 250gb.
Also, it appears that the only way to use timeshift recording mode is if your decoder is plugged in via the RF input, doesn't that seem a little odd? does anyone even use RF these days?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Regards
David
