    hi

    i'd like to capture at best quality so that my client can edit on a mac. at the moment im thinking that dv avi would be the best option but someone has told me that macs dont like avi files!

    is this true or can i proceed with dv avis?

    i have tmpgenc express 4

    With the AVI container, it may be possible that Perian will be required. However, this is free and may be found at www.perian.org

    Once installed, no workflow changes will be needed.
